UK domains (.co.uk, .org.uk, .me.uk, .ltd.uk, .ac.uk) are cheaper to own, are more flexible and easier for resolving issues. However, they can make your business lack global appeal. UK domains must be purchased for two years and we charge Ł11.50 including set-up.

USA domains
More expensive to buy and operate, more tricky for sort out issues and harder to transfer but these domains will provide a more international feel for your business. US domains include .com. .net and .org. US domains start at Ł14.50 for one year including set-up.

Exotic domains
The likes of .tv, .info and .biz are the most expensive domains to own with .tv for example costing over Ł40 per annum and the other two must be purchased for a minimum of two years at over Ł15 per annum.

Global domains
Every country has its own domain name style. For instance, .it for Italy, .za for South Africa or .jp for Japan. Click here for an exhaustive list of available domains. (Requires a pdf reader) Expect to pay at least Ł20.00 per annum for these domains plus sizeable admin charges.

Activity specific domains
There are an increasing number of very specific domains available such as .museum (obvious enough), .edu (schools) with more added every year. These domains can be expensive and some may cause problems but we can advise on this. Expect to pay at least Ł20.00 per annum for these domains.
